THE WATCHMAKER
BERNHARD LEDERER
An artisan winner of multiple awards, inventor of breakthrough concepts and extraordinary watches, Bernhard Lederer is a Master Watchmaker of German origin established in Saint Blaise, near Neuchâtel, in the cradle of Swiss watchmaking. His creativity and innovative concepts come from a desire to ‘Think Different’, a deep understanding of the heritage of horology and a profound respect for past masters such as John Harrison, Abraham Louis Breguet and Sir George Daniels.
THE TIMEPIECES: DUALITY IN SYMMETRY
For the first time in the history of watchmaking, Bernhard Lederer has created a movement that integrates an independent double-wheel escapement – dual barrels, dual gear trains, dual escape wheels – with dual remontoirs. This unique wristwatch movement is a tribute to George Daniels and his masterpieces, the Space Traveller I and Space Traveller II pocket watches with their independent double-wheel escapements, created over forty years ago.

True to the innovative ambitions of each of his creations, Bernhard Lederer’s intent was to design a timepiece with a profoundly reworked aesthetic.
